How to read THC and CBD values

THC and CBD numbers need a label: catalog reference, recorded sample range or unknown.

Reference values are not a product test

A catalog value describes what a source reports for a named profile. It does not certify the potency of a product sold under that name or guarantee a future sample.

Read ranges with their source

Recorded minimum and maximum values belong to the samples and method documented by the source. A missing range is not evidence that the compound is absent.

Keep unknowns visible

The Atlas leaves unsupported values unfilled. Showing unknown is more accurate than converting a rounded zero or an absent report into a measured result.
